Belgorod


Belgorod is located north of Kharkov and close to the border with Ukraine. The city is quite drab as can be seen from these photographs however for military fans it has a fantastic museum of the Battle of Kursk. Belgorod was the jumping off point for the southern pincer in the last major German offensive in the east and much can be seen in the museum. I went there three times. There is also a monument to the Russian dead in the war in Afghanistan which can be seen in these photographs also. I have a wide range of interests and I think that this is reflected in the films which can be seen here.
